Review Facilitation
Since the FRC announced its newly updated guidance in the form of The UK Corporate Governance Code, it is now key to engage an external facilitator for a Board review every two to three years to provide the appropriate level of independence for oversight and review of the Board and individual directors. An external review facilitation provides confidentiality and supports total frankness of views. An external pair of eyes will be able to deal more easily with challenges that internally may be uncomfortable, skimmed over, or accepted as the norm.
Board review facilitation can take many forms from a fully-facilitated external evaluation with Board observation, Committees, Analysis, Questionnaires and Director Interviews to a simple confidential questionnaire for Board members.
